Becoming a Volunteer
If you would like to volunteer, send an email to volunteer@adyashanti.org. Please include your name, phone number, and mailing address, and let us know what special skills you have, which activities interest you, and when you might be available. We will then add your name to our volunteer list and let you know if a volunteer position opens up that matches your skills, interests, and availability.
If you live outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, you can volunteer at an Adyashanti travel event near you by going to the Travels page and emailing the contact person for that event.
Open Gate Sangha volunteers help in so many ways.
Here are a few:
At Events
- Arranging flowers
- Greeting people
- Coordinating events
- Setting up chairs
- Selling books, DVDs, and CDs
- Ringing the bell at retreats
At Our Office
- Answering phones and emails
- Data entry
- Computer technical support
- Moving boxes and furniture
At Home
- Transcribing satsangs
- Proofreading
- Helping with out-of-town events
