Open Gate Sangha Office Building Open Gate Sangha supports those who sincerely yearn for peace and freedom by providing access to the teachings of Adyashanti and Mukti. Our ultimate purpose is to serve the awakening of truth.

Founded in 1996 in the San Francisco Bay area, Open Gate Sangha today reaches people around the world who are called to explore the truth of their own being through Adyashanti’s and Mukti’s teachings. Our small staff and many dedicated volunteers host talks, weekend intensives, and silent retreats, coordinate Adyashanti’s and Mukti’s travel plans and events, produce a wide range of publications, develop and maintain websites, and make audio, video, and written teachings available online.

Above all, we at Open Gate Sangha remain committed to letting truth be our guide—the truth that looks out from everyone’s eyes, and sees only itself wherever it looks.

Tax-Deductible Contributions

Open Gate Sangha, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax–exempt organization. All donations to Open Gate Sangha are tax-deductible. Retreat and Intensive fees are not considered donations.

Those who feel called to financially support Adyashanti’s teaching work may contribute to one or more of the following funds: Publishing Fund, Scholarship Fund, and General Fund. (The General Fund is for the day-to-day operations that make Adyashanti’s satsangs, intensives, retreats, and travels possible.)

Scholarships

Open Gate Sangha offers a limited number of scholarships to local intensives and retreats for those who need financial assistance. Scholarships are awarded based on a number of criteria, including availability of scholarship funds, applicant’s financial need, and prior scholarships awarded to the applicant.
